Teresa’s Journey So Far

Creativity has always been the thread running through my life.
I’m an artist, designer, and community collaborator based in Front Royal, Virginia. For more than 25 years I’ve worked at the intersection of creativity, storytelling, and community building—helping organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses bring ideas to life through design, art, and creative experiences.
My work ranges from graphic design and branding to original artwork, public art projects, and creative community events. I enjoy taking an idea—sometimes just a rough concept—and shaping it into something visual, meaningful, and memorable.
But creativity, to me, isn’t just about making things.
It’s about connecting people.
Over the years I’ve worked with local nonprofits, heritage organizations, arts groups, and community leaders to create projects that celebrate place, history, and culture. Whether it’s designing a logo, producing event materials, painting a mural, or organizing an art experience, my goal is always the same: help people tell their story.
My Approach
I believe creativity works best when it is collaborative.
Some of the projects I love most begin with a conversation—someone with an idea, a challenge, or a vision they want to bring into the world. My role is to help shape that vision into something clear, compelling, and visually powerful.
My background combines traditional artistic practice with graphic design and digital media, which allows me to move comfortably between fine art and practical design work.
That flexibility means I can help with:
Branding and logo design
Marketing and visual communication
Original artwork and commissions
Creative programming and events
Community and nonprofit creative projects
Why I Do This Work
Art and design have the power to spark conversation, preserve stories, and strengthen communities.
Some of my favorite work happens right here in the Shenandoah Valley—collaborating with organizations and local leaders who care deeply about the places and people around them.
I believe creativity is not just decoration.
It’s a tool for connection, identity, and impact.
And I’m always excited to see what can happen when a good idea meets the right creative energy.

Family is Important

My connection to this region runs deep. Family, community, and local history have always been central in my life, and much of my work reflects a love for the people and stories that shape the Shenandoah Valley.
